Ways to advertise
Restaurant Table Advertising
Restaurant table advertising covers anything printed that sits within arm's reach of a diner: napkin dispenser cards, table tents, placemats, and menu inserts. They look similar from a distance. Up close, they differ in how long they last, how many ads share the space, and who controls them.
Four Table Formats Side by Side
Each format solves a different problem for the restaurant, which shapes what it does for an advertiser.
| Format | How long it lasts | Ads sharing the space | Who controls it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Napkin dispenser card | Until the card is swapped | Usually one card per window | Ad company, approved by the owner |
| Table tent | Weeks, until worn or moved | One per tent, often the restaurant's own promo | Usually the restaurant |
| Paper placemat | One meal | Many, in a grid | Placemat publisher |
| Menu insert or back page | Until menus are reprinted | Varies | The restaurant |
Why a Dispenser Window Holds Up Better
A napkin dispenser gets touched every time someone needs a napkin, so it stays in the middle of the table instead of being pushed aside. The card sits behind a clear front window, which keeps it dry and free of sauce.
Our cards are 6.5 by 4.25 inches, landscape, full color, on heavy card stock, with the exact size confirmed for each dispenser model before printing.
Where Placemats and Table Tents Still Fit
Placemats suit diners and family restaurants that already use paper mats, and they let you buy a small spot cheaply. Table tents suit restaurants that want to promote their own specials and sometimes sell the back panel.
Both can work. The tradeoffs are shelf life, crowding, and whether anyone checks that your ad is still out and readable. A placemat ad competes with a dozen neighbors on one sheet, and a tent can end up stacked by the register after a busy shift.
Upkeep: Who Checks the Table
Table ads get knocked over, stained, and moved. Ask any provider who checks them and how often. We visit on a regular route, replace worn cards, and take photo check-ins so you can see your card in place.
Restaurant staff only refill napkins with standard interfold dispenser napkins. They don't manage the ads, so a slammed Friday night doesn't decide whether your card is still on the table.

Questions we get
What size is a napkin dispenser ad?
Our ad card is 6.5 by 4.25 inches, landscape, printed full color on heavy card stock. It sits behind the clear front window of a tabletop interfold dispenser. We confirm the exact size for each dispenser model before printing.
Are table tents or napkin dispenser ads better?
They do different jobs. Table tents usually carry the restaurant's own specials and can be moved or knocked over. Dispenser cards sit behind a window in an item diners use all meal, with one advertiser per category. Choose based on shelf life and upkeep.
Who designs and installs a restaurant table ad?
With us, we design the card at no extra charge, send a proof, print it, and install it in the dispensers at the restaurants you picked. We check it on route visits with photo check-ins and swap designs on your plan's schedule.
Do restaurants get paid for table advertising?
Restaurants in our network receive free napkin dispensers and a starter supply of napkins, with no contract. Owners approve every advertiser and can ask for any ad to be removed. Other table ad providers set their own terms with restaurants.
