Napkin Dispenser Ads for Barbershops and Salons

Napkin dispenser ads for barbershops and salons reach people eating a few doors down from your chairs, often the same people who walk past your window every day without coming in. You pick the restaurants, we design the card, and no other shop in your category shares those dispensers.

Filling the Tuesday Afternoon Chair

Every shop knows the pattern. Friday and Saturday book up, and Tuesday afternoon sits empty. A napkin card can target that gap directly, with a weekday walk-in message or a first visit offer that's only good Monday through Thursday.

The diners at the lunch counter next door are on a break with time to spare. A card that says walk in after lunch makes the decision easy.

Prom, Weddings, Graduation and Back to School

Hair follows the calendar. Prom and graduation season fills spring. Wedding season runs into fall. The last weeks of summer bring back-to-school cuts for every kid in the neighborhood, and December fills with holiday parties.

Book seasonal cards two to three weeks ahead so they land on tables before clients start booking elsewhere.

  • April to June: prom, graduation and wedding styles
  • August: back-to-school cuts
  • December: holiday party appointments

Show the Work, Not a Stock Photo

Hair is visual, and a real photo of your own work sells better than anything we could write. Send us a clean shot of a fresh fade, a color job or a styled cut, and we'll build the card around it.

Add your Instagram handle if your portfolio lives there. Diners often check it before booking.

Licenses, Booth Renters and the Card

California's Board of Barbering and Cosmetology licenses barbers, cosmetologists and establishments. Your card isn't a license display, but offers should be accurate and the services listed should be ones your licensed staff provide.

If you're a booth renter, check whether your shop owner wants to approve ads that use the shop's name or address.

Counting Regulars, Not Just First Cuts

A first visit offer is easy to count and easy to misjudge. The real value is the client who rebooks every few weeks for years. Note which new clients came from the card and check whether they're still on your book a few months later.

Use your own average ticket and how often a regular comes in to set the value in our calculator. That number, not the first cut, tells you whether the card is working.

A note on advertising rules for barbershops and salons

California's Board of Barbering and Cosmetology licenses barbers, cosmetologists and shops, so list only services your licensed staff perform and keep offers accurate. Booth renters should check with the shop owner before using the shop's name.

You approve every proof, so you stay in control of what goes to print.

From first call to your card on the table

  1. 1

Tell us where your customers are

Call or send the short form with your business address or the zip codes you serve. We reply within one business day with the restaurants near you that have an open spot in your category.

  2. 2

Pick your restaurants and a plan

Choose one restaurant, a cluster of five, or fifteen across an area. One advertiser per category per restaurant, so once you take the dentist spot at a restaurant, no other dentist can.

  3. 3

    Approve your card

Send a logo, an offer and a phone number or QR code. We design the card, send a proof, and print it on heavy stock once you approve. You can also send a print-ready file.

  4. 4

Your ad goes on every table

We install your card in every dispenser at your restaurants on the next route visit, then check it on regular visits and send you photos.

  5. 5

    Track and adjust

Use a code, a tracking number or a QR link that appears only on the napkin card. Swap the offer with the season. Add restaurants in areas that respond.

Questions barbershops and salons ask us

Can a booth renter advertise on a napkin dispenser?

Yes. A booth renter can run a card under their own name, with the shop's address. It's a good idea to check with the shop owner first, especially if the card uses the shop's name or logo. One advertiser per category per restaurant still applies.

What should a barbershop card say?

One offer, a real photo of your work and the easiest way to book: walk in, an app or a phone number. A weekday walk-in message fills slow hours. Skip the full price list, since prices can change while the card is on the table.

Will a barbershop and a salon share a dispenser?

They might, if the restaurant owner approves both and they're set as different categories. If you'd rather not share with any hair business, say so when you book and we'll show you which restaurants in our network fit.

How do I know new clients came from the napkin?

Use an offer name like napkin cut that clients mention when booking, or a QR code to a booking link only the card uses. Ask every new client how they found you. In a walk-in shop, a quick note on the receipt works.
